Search Engine Optimization
On-Page Optimization
(1)Analysis of keyword and keyword phrases
Keyword Analysis is about identifying the obvious and unforeseen keywords that will increase the ‘call to action’ conversion ratio. This essentially means determining the correct keywords for your industry. This includes search for the right keyword or keyword phrase as primary keyword.
(2)HTML Tags:
(a)Title Tag: Each page in the site should have a unique title.
(b)Description Tag: made up of keywords and phrases in sentence form that are used by search engines to rank your website.
(c)Keyword Tag: Keywords placed strategically in your web pages from which search engines pull keywords and display in search results.
(d)Alt Tag: Image ALT tags are those HTML tags that tell you and the search engines what an image is all about. As we know that search engines can't read the text written in the images so its good to use ALT Tags to help the search engines to understand what the image is all about.
(e)H1, H2....Tags: Heading tags are one of the most important tags appearing on the page not only to the users but they are also very important to the search engines, so if they are very closely related to the content of the page that they appear on they can really boost up your rankings.
(3) Special Text: "Special text" (as it is used here) special is any content on your page that is set to stand out from the rest. This includes bold, underlined, colored, highlighted, sizing and italic. This text is given weight higher than standard content and rightfully so.
(4) SiteMap: Site maps have a potentially important role in search engine optimization. They overcome problems with dynamic content that some search engines have trouble navigating. Some large websites have deep hierarchies of links. Search engines take time to traverse (spider) these hierarchies and index all the pages in a website. A site map can provide deep links to all the content on the website.
(5) Google SiteMap: A Google Sitemap is a very simple XML document that lists all the pages in your website, but the Google Sitemaps program is actually much more important than that. In fact, the Sitemaps program provides a little peek inside Google's mind - and it can tell you a lot about what Google thinks of your website!
(6) Creating of RSS: News syndication is a great way to build awareness of your content and website and drive click-through traffic to your site. This can be done with relative ease and without major expense or ongoing work. Websites that integrate your feed also provide valuable inbound-links with relevant anchor text.
Off-Page Optimization
(1) Directory Submission:
(a)Free Submission: Submission to all non-paid submission directories like: MSN directory, Open Directory Project , general and niche directories.
(b) Paid Submission: Paid directory submissions should be treated like any other paid inbound- link, they will generate a small amount of traffic but their worth is largely in terms of anchor text and PageRank.
(2) Search Engine Submission:
(a) Free Submission: Submission to all no-paid engines to get decent traffic.
(b) Paid Submission: Submission to all paid engines.
(3) Reciprocal Link Building: Reciprocal link building is the trading of links between two websites. Essentially it's an "I'll post yours if you'll post mine" sort of arrangement. There are many sites out there that will essentially link to any-and-all sites willing to link to them.
(4) Non-Reciprocal Link Building:
(a) Paid Links: Paid links are links from other websites purchased solely for the value of the link rather than for direct clicks.
(b) Article: Writing articles is a great way of getting inbound links and generating quality traffic. Articles give you the opportunity to control the content on the linking page meaning that you can guarantee that it is totally relevant, it's a one-way link, and it's a link that you'll actually get traffic from.
(c) Press Release: Press releases are another great way to attain one-way inbound links. If you have news that you feel worth telling, submit a press release about it.
(d) Forum Posting: Promoting the website's services by discussing all things related to website topic in related forums or ducussion board.
(e) Blog Posting: Creating a blogs to increase web presence and link popularity of web site.Update it regular with some quality articles.
